Chapter 306: Is He A Hero Or A Breeder?!
Chapter 306: Is He A Hero Or A Breeder?!
The crowd lost their collective minds.
"HE’S THE FATHER?!"
"THE Hero? THE HUMAN?!"
"IMPOSSIBLE!"
"I DON’T BELIEVE IT!"
"A HUMAN AND ELVES? TOGETHER? AND HE IMPREGNATED ALL OF THEM?!"
"THIS IS THE CRAZIEST THING I’VE EVER HEARD!"
"MY BRAIN CAN’T PROCESS THIS!"
"IS THIS A DREAM? SOMEONE PINCH ME!"
"I JUST GOT HERE AND I ALREADY WANT TO LEAVE!"
"NO, I WANT TO STAY! I NEED TO KNOW HOW HE DID IT!"
"FORGET THE PEACE TALKS—I WANT DETAILS!"
The dark elf matriarch was laughing so hard she was crying.
"Oh, this is wonderful! This is the best day of my life!"
The dragonkin queen’s eye twitched. "I feel like I’m having a stroke."
The wolf chieftess shook her head slowly, a grudging respect dawning on her face.
"I take back everything I said about men being useless. This one...this one is different."
The demi-human races had been hit with revelation after revelation—first the concert, then the pregnancies, then the impossible truth that one single man had fathered an entire village’s worth of children.
Some of them felt like their hearts were about to give out.
A few of the more elderly members had to sit down, fanning themselves, muttering about how they hadn’t signed up for this when they agreed to attend a simple peace meeting.
If they returned to their villages and told their people what had happened here, they would be laughed at. Scoffed at. Accused of losing their minds.
"A human impregnated an entire elven village? And the elves are happy about it? Pull the other leg."
It was too absurd, too impossible, too far outside the realm of normal experience.
And yet, here they were, staring at the evidence with their own eyes.
The glowing tattoos didn’t lie. The life force radiating from every elven womb didn’t lie.
The dryad queen’s testimony didn’t lie.
Some of the leaders looked at Luca with admiration.
Others stared in confusion, their brows furrowed, their mouths slightly open.
A few—the dark elf matriarch chief among them looked at him with naked envy, wondering how he had managed to accomplish something that the males of their own races had failed at for over a decade.
But mostly, there was confusion.
How had this happened? How had the elves—proud, noble, dignified elves allowed themselves to be disgraced by a human?
It didn’t compute. It went against everything they knew about elven nature.
And then, a voice rose from the crowd—dark, accusatory.
"Don’t tell me...you forced yourself onto them."
A member of the harpy race stepped forward, her feathers ruffled, her eyes narrowed.
"You used your power to make them pregnant. Y-You forced them."
The crowd erupted.
"No way! That’s horrible!"
"But it makes sense. It makes so much more sense than the alternative."
"With how powerful he is, they would have no choice but to obey."
"He’s a human. Humans are godless creatures capable of unspeakable things."
The accusations spread like wildfire. Hands moved to weapons. Bodies shifted into battle stances.
The vampire queen’s eyes grew cold and deadly, her daggers materializing in her hands as if from nowhere.
The dragonkin queen’s tail lashed back and forth, her scales bristling.
The ogre leader tightened her grip on her massive club.
The beastkin bared their teeth, their ears flattening against their heads.
They were ready to fight. Ready to defend the honor of the elves—who, despite being a different race, had somehow become symbols of dignity and grace that they felt compelled to protect.
The lamia queen, the dryad queen, and the centaur leader watched the commotion with calm, assessing eyes.
They didn’t join the frenzy. They simply...waited.
And then, something unexpected happened.
The elves themselves stepped forward and...
....protected Luca!
"Wait! Hold on! This is a misunderstanding!"
Luna’s voice rang out, clear and urgent. She moved to the front of the stage, her hands raised, her expression fierce.
"Luca didn’t force himself on me. He didn’t force himself on anyone." She placed a hand on her belly, her eyes softening. "I wanted this child. I wanted it more than anything."
Gasps. Murmurs. Disbelief.
But before anyone could respond, Lulu stepped forward as well.
"Me too." She said, her voice steady. She touched her own belly, a gentle, almost reverent gesture. "I was the one who wanted a baby growing inside me. I literally had to beg him to put it there."
"He was so against it at first!"
She glared at Luca, but there was no real anger in it. Only exasperation. Only love.
"But whatever it may be." She continued, her voice rising. "I was definitely the one who wanted his chick in me."
The crowd stared. This was not what they had expected. Not even close.
Selma, Ivy, and Alia joined the chorus.
"Me too! He’s definitely the father of my child, and I want it to stay that way!"
"Please put your weapons down. We all love him very much!"
"He’s a playboy, yes, but he’s our playboy, and you’re not allowed to do anything to him!"
Soon, every elf on the stage was crying out.
"Don’t harm him! He’s my husband!"
"He’s the love of my life!"
"Don’t you dare pull out your weapons on the future father of my child!"
"I don’t want to be a widow!"
The declarations of support and affection burst from every direction, a chorus of devotion that left the other races speechless.
And it wasn’t just the mothers. The children joined in too.
"Don’t harm my daddy!" A little girl shouted, his tiny fists raised.
"He taught me how to shoot a bow! He showed me so many things! I won’t let you touch a single hair on his head!"
"He’s taking care of my mother so well. I love my daddy very much."
Lisa stepped forward, tears streaming down her cheeks.
"The reason my mama is so happy right now is because of my new father. Please don’t harm him."
Even the elders, nodded their heads in agreement.
"He’s not a bad man." One of them said, her voice gruff but sincere. "He’s an idiot, certainly. He wears ridiculous clothes and makes us do ridiculous things."
"...But he’s not bad."
Another elder nodded. "He brought life back to our village. He brought hope. We won’t allow you to harm him."
The watching demi-humans couldn’t breathe. They didn’t dare whisper a single word.
The matter was too shocking!
They had been so certain that the elves had been forced. That the Hero had used his power to bend them to his will.
But the truth was the exact opposite.
The women were fawning over him.
They were defending him.
They were declaring their love for him in front of everyone!
The vampire queen’s icy expression cracked. The dragonkin queen’s tail stopped lashing. The beastkin slowly lowered their weapons.
They looked at Luca with dumbfounded wonder.
What sort of man was he, to convince so many elves to become his partners? To bear his children? To love him so openly, so fearlessly?
Some still couldn’t fully believe it. The shock was too great.
But those doubts were dissolved when the queen of the giant group, a woman of few words and even fewer expressions spoke.
"Leona." She said, her voice deep and rumbling. "Is what your people saying true? You, and everyone else, happily accepted the Hero’s seed?"
Everyone turned to Leona. The weight of the moment pressed down on her.
But she did not flinch. She did not hesitate. She stepped forward, her chin raised, her eyes blazing with conviction.
"It’s true..."
She said. And before anyone could react, she looked back at Luca with a smile so full of love it made several of the onlookers’ hearts ache.
"Not only is he the father of my child—the child I chose to have—but he is also my husband. The man I choose to spend the rest of my life with."
She turned back to the crowd and shyly said,
"Yes, so as shocking as it may be, the Hero is the father of our entire elf village."
"That’s simply the plain truth."
Nyx jumped forward, throwing an arm around her sister’s shoulder.
"I can also attest to that!" She grinned, utterly unashamed. "He’s been pounding me all night, filling me up—"
"NYX!"
"—and I can say with absolute certainty that he’s the father of my child." She pointed at Luca. "And as for him forcing himself on me?" She shook her head. "That’s not the truth at all. I’m the one who asked to be pounded!"
The elves behind her nodded shyly. Some couldn’t meet the crowd’s eyes. Others stared back defiantly.
The demi-humans couldn’t handle it anymore.
"No way." Someone whispered. "No way, no way, no way."
"This is actually true? I can’t fathom this right now."
"I need to sit down."
Several of the weaker races simply fainted on the spot.
"My lady! My lady, wake up!"
Their companions rushed to catch them, shouting their names, fanning their faces.
"Someone get water!"
"I told you she shouldn’t have come! She’s too young for this!"
The leaders exchanged glances.
They had expected the Hero to be impressive, perhaps—to have convinced the elves that he was a favorable person, someone worth listening to.
But he had gone far beyond that. He had turned the entire village into his women. He had made himself the father of their future.
"He turned the entire village into his harem." The slime girl queen said, her voice filled with wonder. "I cannot fathom that level of charisma. That level of energy."
The other leaders nodded. They couldn’t either.
The strongest among them looked like they were developing migraines.
The vampire queen was rubbing her temples. The dragonkin queen’s eye was twitching again.
The mermaid queen was staring at the sky as if hoping it would provide answers.
The dark elf matriarch, on the other hand, looked like she wanted to run up to Nyx and ask her about every single detail. Her excitement was barely contained.
Then the goblin queen—small, timid, usually overlooked raised her voice.
"Wait, hold on."
Everyone turned to look at her. She flinched under the combined weight of so many powerful gazes, but she forced herself to continue.
"If the entire elf village has truly been impregnated by the Hero—if they love him from the bottom of their hearts—then doesn’t that mean we can trust him too?"
The silence that followed was heavy.
"What is she talking about?" Someone muttered.
"I don’t understand. Where is she going with this?"
The goblin queen swallowed her fear and pressed on.
"Think about it." She continued, her voice growing stronger. "Think about what the Hero said earlier."
She glanced at Luca, who was watching her with an approving look. She felt a surge of courage.
"We all know the elf village is the most reserved when it comes to humans. They keep to themselves. They don’t interact. They’re the most distant of all the races."
Heads nodded. This was common knowledge.
"But despite that—despite all the hurdles, despite their natural distrust—the Hero managed to make them trust him completely."
She raised a finger. "Not just trust him—fall for him. So completely that he impregnated every single one of them."
Realization dawned on the faces of the smarter leaders.
The dragonkin queen’s eyes widened. The lamia queen’s lips parted. The centaur leader stamped her hoof.
"And if even the most distant race, the one that never trusts anyone can trust the Hero, then doesn’t that mean we can trust him too?"
The murmurs grew.
"She’s not just blabbing nonsense. That actually makes sense."
"I know, right? If even the elves trust him that much—then we don’t have to worry about it."
One of the giants spoke up, her voice thoughtful.
"This may sound harsh, but it’s like testing food for poison. If someone else eats it and not only survives but thrives—"
"—then it’s safe to eat!" A mermaid finished. "It’s basically a seal of approval. The hardest seal to get."
The centaur leader nodded slowly.
"So you’re saying that since the elves already trust the Hero so much, we should trust him too."
"Exactly!" The goblin queen said. "That’s exactly what I’m saying!"
More nods. More murmurs of agreement.
And Luca, seeing his opening, stepped forward.
"She’s right!" Luca said, his voice ringing across the valley. "That’s exactly what I’ve been trying to say as well!"
He turned to the elves for support and asked,
"Isn’t that right, you lot? I’m trustworthy, right?"
The elves knew they had to support him. This was the pivotal moment.
"Yes, yes! You can most certainly trust him!"
"I tested the product thoroughly! And I can say the final review is five stars!"
"Don’t worry! My husband is the best person in the world. Just trust in him, and everything will go perfectly!"
Luna grabbed Luca’s hand and shouted,
"Please trust him everyone! He may be a bit silly, but he’s the best Hero, husband and father in the world!"
Lulu grinned. "He’s also really good in bed! If you trust him, you can get babies too!"
Several demi-humans stared at her in dismay.
Leona and Nyx didn’t say anything. They didn’t need to. Their presence, their approval, was enough.
The minds of the crowd were changing at a shocking rate and Luca pressed his advantage.
"And just think about it! Do you really think that someone evil and depraved would wear something like this?"
He enthusiastically pointed at his frilly pink shirt, his ribbons, his ridiculous outfit.
"You really think a villain would wear something like this!?"
The crowd hesitated.
"No." Someone said. "A true villain would never wear something so...girly."
"Exactly!" Luca spread his arms wide. "And did you see my performance? The way I sang those cheesy lyrics? The way I danced like a clown?"
"Do you really think someone coming to harm you would do such things!?"
"He did a fish dance." A harpy said. "In public. In front of all of us."
"The worm dance, too." A cat-folk added. "With full commitment."
"And that backflip." A wolf girl said, her voice faint. "I’ve never seen anyone do a backflip in frilly pink shoes before."
The mermaid queen spoke, her voice doubtful but softening.
"His voice was also...surprisingly beautiful. And his dances were utterly ridiculous. There’s just no way a clown like that can be a bad person."
The public sentiment was shifting and the elves faces lit up.
They could feel it—a turning point.
More and more people were starting to understand that Luca wasn’t a threat, that he might actually be someone they could trust.
Then the harpy queen spoke, her voice sharp.
"But what about the dreams? The dreams the Goddess showed us? What do you have to say about that?"
