Chapter 182: The Next Demon Attack
Chapter 182: The Next Demon Attack
The Next Morning
The sunlight filtered through the curtains of the safehouse apartment. The team had gathered in the living room after breakfast. Andrey stood in front of Sarah, Lisa, and Sein, explaining everything that had happened the previous night, the rescue of Felix, the encounter with Morgana, and how he had been forced to form a contract with her.
Sarah leaned back on the couch, arms crossed, looking stunned.
"So... we now have two new Magical Girls?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. "Lumy and... a demon?"
Andrey nodded. "That’s right."
Sein crossed her arms, looking intrigued but wary. "I’m curious about that demon. Is she already obedient? Can we trust her?"
Andrey answered calmly, "Yes. I’ve made her submit. We should be able to extract useful information from her about Vesper Kane and the demons’ plans."
Sarah let out a long sigh, rubbing her temple. "I still can’t believe it. A demon becoming a Magical Girl? That sounds ridiculous."
Lisa looked equally surprised, though her expression was gentler. "I’m also shocked that the System accepted a demon as a candidate..."
The System’s cheerful voice suddenly rang out in the room for everyone to hear.
System: It was an emergency, you know? We didn’t have much choice. But it’s better to use every resource we have rather than sit still and do nothing, right?
Andrey nodded. "Exactly. We need to move quickly. I have a meeting with Leto, the Guild Master of Lumina, soon. We can’t afford to waste time."
He stepped forward and raised his hand. A soft glow appeared as he released the seal.
"Appear, Morgana."
A violet magic circle formed on the floor. With a flash of light, Morgana materialized, kneeling gracefully in its center. Her elegant Violet Dusk outfit shimmered as she lowered her head respectfully.
She spoke in a calm, submissive tone.
"For what reason did you summon me, Master?"
The room fell silent. Her mature, voluptuous figure and seductive presence made the atmosphere instantly heavier.
Sein was the first to speak, crossing her arms with an arrogant smirk.
"Oh? So we got ourselves a cute demon, huh?" she said, looking Morgana up and down. "Not bad."
Sarah’s eyes immediately zeroed in on Morgana’s chest. She raised an eyebrow and pointed accusingly at Andrey.
"Hey... her breasts are huge! Don’t tell me you contracted her just because of those massive tits?"
Andrey sighed, looking slightly exasperated.
"It’s not like that. Don’t accuse me so casually," he replied. "Morgana was simply vulnerable at the time. That made it easier for me to make her submit."
Morgana slowly rose to her feet with graceful movements. She placed a hand over her chest and bowed her head elegantly, her voice smooth and submissive.
"I am Morgana, formerly a High Demon of the Crimson Legion. Now... I am Master Andrey’s sex slave. It is a pleasure to meet you all."
Lisa’s eyes widened in shock. She covered her mouth with both hands.
"S-Sex slave...?!" she squeaked, her face turning bright red.
Sein let out a low whistle, looking impressed.
"Hmm... that’s quite a bold introduction. I like it," she said with a smirk.
Sarah rubbed her temple, looking both annoyed and amused.
"We really got another weird Magical Girl added to the team..."
Andrey cleared his throat, trying to regain control of the situation.
"...She’ll be useful."
Sein crossed her arms, looking at Morgana with a sharp, curious gaze.
"So, demon. Since you’re now one of us, spill what you know. What’s the next move your kind is planning?"
Morgana lowered her head slightly in deference before answering calmly and directly.
"The demons’ next target is The Order of the Divine Light. They plan to launch a large-scale attack to seize the artifacts stored there."
Lisa’s eyes widened in shock.
"There are artifacts there?!"
Sein narrowed her eyes, thinking quickly.
"Isn’t that also the main gathering place for support-type heroes? If they attack there, they’re not just after artifacts, they’re probably trying to weaken the heroes by taking out their support backbone too."
Sarah’s expression turned serious. She leaned forward on the couch.
"Isn’t that really bad? If they succeed, it’ll mess up the entire hero network."
Andrey nodded, his face calm but focused.
"What about the schedule? When are they planning to do this?"
Morgana shook her head slightly.
"I don’t know the exact date. But from what I heard... it should be within this month."
Sarah clicked her tongue, looking skeptical.
"That’s pretty vague. Are you sure you’re not lying to us?"
Morgana lifted her head and looked directly at Sarah, then at Andrey. Her voice was steady and sincere.
"I am not lying. I have no reason to. My soul and body already belong to Master Andrey. Betraying him would be pointless."
Andrey cleared his throat slightly, a faint hint of embarrassment on his face after Morgana’s bold declaration. He quickly composed himself and spoke to the group.
"Alright. That means we need to start making preparations before the demons launch their attack."
Morgana nodded respectfully and added in a calm tone, "Please be cautious. The demons who will participate are stronger than me. Some of them already carry fragments of Laplace’s power."
Sein smirked arrogantly, crossing her arms. "No need to worry. We’ve already killed demons stronger than that before."
Sarah immediately shot her a look. "Hey, don’t get too cocky. We only managed that because we had help from an S-rank hero. Don’t forget that."
Sein turned to her with a teasing grin. "Oh? But we contributed more, didn’t we? Oh right, you were the one shaking in fear back then, weren’t you?"
Sarah’s eyes narrowed dangerously. "What did you just say?!"
Before the argument could escalate, Lisa quickly stepped in, turning to Morgana with a serious expression.
"Morgana, please tell us everything you know about the golden-eyed man, Vesper Kane."
Morgana bowed her head slightly and answered obediently.
"I don’t know much about him, but what I do know is this: He is a human who sold his soul to the demons. He has been working as their agent for quite some time. He usually appears during secret meetings between high-ranking demons. If you want to find him, the best chance is to intercept him at one of those gatherings."
The room fell silent as everyone absorbed the information.
Andrey nodded slowly. "That’s valuable. We’ll need to find out when and where the next meeting is."
Sarah still looked irritated at Sein but forced herself to focus. "If he’s selling information and artifacts to the demons, we can’t let him keep running around freely."
Sein cracked her knuckles. "Then we’ll just have to crash their little party."
Lisa looked worried but determined. "We’ll need to be very careful. If he has connections with high-ranking demons, this won’t be easy."
Andrey glanced at Morgana. "Can you help us locate the next meeting?"
Morgana lowered her head respectfully. "I will do everything in my power, Master."
